Caribou
Clothes began as a very small enterprise, manufacturing
sheep skin coats and accessories in Vancouver, B.C. in
1970. In 1974 we constructed a factory in Mountain View,
Alberta, Canada, for making sheepskin and leather items.
For several years we made coats and accessories for the
wholesale market as well as for our own retail locations.
Our coats were sold in various stores throughout western
Canada and in the United States. We also exported them
to Japan for several years. In 2002 we discontinued our
coat, jacket and wholesale operations and have concentrated
on manufacturing our line of slippers, mitts, and hats.
Our manufacturing facility is small, thus we are able
to pay careful attention to the process of making our
accessories. All of our items are individually hand made
by skilled artisans who take pride in their workmanship.
We are careful to use only the best sheepskins available
and take great care in the craftsmanship of all our products.
All of our products are designed for comfort, warmth,
style and durability. Because of the quality of our products,
we have thousands of satisfied customers who have purchased
our merchandise over the many years we have been in business.
We appreciate the support of our many repeat customers
and look forward to providing our high quality products
to our valued customers, both new and old.
